MIST Toronto is an exciting way for high school students to showcase their unique abilities and talents. Students learn skills from the MIST experience that enhance their communication skills and allow them to find the answers to complex problems. The top students at MIST Toronto move on to represent their high schools at MIST Nationals. MIST Toronto has over 30 competitions, such as art, tajweed, short film, spoken word, poetry, debate, the math olympics, science fair, nasheed, fashion design, and improv. For athletes, there is MIST Sports Day, an intense tournament where students compete against other students from all over the GTA in basketball. MIST is not only a fun and interactive competition. It can also help with education. Many former MIST participants use MIST on their university applications to springboard themselves from the competition.
