With core values of spirituality, professionalism, social advocacy, and community building, we are proud to announce a top-of-the notch series of workshops that will be held throughout the duration of the weekend to help you grow and develop as an individual!

Saturday May 16th
1. Are You Ready to be an Advocate?
By: National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM)

Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
In this workshop you’ll be placed in a fast-paced, team-based session where students will design real solutions to real school challenges, from prayer spaces to Ramadan accommodations. Learn practical advocacy tools, build an action plan, and leave ready to create change. Participants will receive a NCCM x MIST Advocacy Hackathon Certification!
2. Step into Charity Week!
By: Islamic Relief Canada
Location: MS 2172
Time: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
In this workshop, students will work through real campaign challenges, build solutions and learn how to create meaningful impact in your community.

3. Live Youth Leadership Challenge!
By: Seeds of Leadership

Led a project that made a difference? We're looking for students who took initiative and created real impact in their community. Participate in an Interactive Face-Off Session! Finalists Announced LIVE on MIST weekend and the winner Will Be Announced at Awards Ceremony!
