"What truly belongs to you is that which you would not lose in a shipwreck.” MIST is special because it has allowed me to internalize qualities, skills, and characteristics that I would not lose in a shipwreck. In other words, MIST and the plethora of lessons it entails truly belong in my heart!

It started in grade 11, went to nationals, came back in grade 12, went to nationals again and now it's on dream team. My only regret was not joining MIST from the start of high school but once a MISTIE always a MISTIE!
I'm a nice person...I just don't share my pizza! MIST in many ways has snuggled into my heart and made a home for itself permanently! My biggest regret was underestimating MIST and not joining earlier in my high school years!
Found out about MIST from friends speaking about being 'MISTified.

“Life is not made up of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years, but of moments. You must experience each one before you can appreciate it.” Attempting to quantify the value of MIST would automatically undermine its worth.
Strive to excel in your passion, and take pride in being different. MIST brought me closer to my peers, and gave me the opportunity to showcase my creativity and learn more about myself and taught me that everyone is a superstar in their own way.
